Ingredients

  • 200g peanut butter
  • 100g honey/maple syrup
  • 130g oats*
  • 3-4 handfuls of peanut M&Ms**
  • 100g dark chocolate
*if you want the recipe to be gluten free, ensure you use GF oats
**sub for vegan alternative if needed
 

M&M PB COOKIE DOUGH BARS

Prep time: 15 mins. Chill time: 2-3 hours. Makes: 12 squares.

These are the easiest snack squares to make and have minimal ingredients. I called them cookie dough bars because they taste like peanut butter cookie dough. You can swap out whatever you want in these (though why you wouldn’t want M&Ms in beyond me..)

Method

Melt together the peanut butter & honey/maple syrup (either in the microwave or in a pan – just be careful it doesn’t catch on the bottom).

Stir in the oats & M&Ms.

Line a small baking tray and press down the mix in to the tray in an even layer. Leave to chill in the fridge for around 2 hours before cutting in squares.

Melt the chocolate and dip the squares in to the chocolate until half way, then leave to set in the fridge until firm.

Store in the fridge.
