FIG MINCE PIE BAKED OATS
Prep time : 5 mins. Bake time: 15-20 mins. Serves 1
You don’t have to put mincemeat in this if you don’t like it, it’s just me being festive. I love putting whole fruit on top of my baked oats, it goes all soft and sweet and like dessert, which let’s face it, is all I’m trying to do really.
Method
Pre heat the oven to 170C fan.
Combine everything (except the fig) in a bowl and transfer to oven proof dish. Cut your lil fig in half and place him flesh side up on the surface; it looks pretty. Squish it down a bit so the mix comes up to the side .
Bake for 15-20 mins. Then top!
I added greek yoghurt, fresh fig slices, raspberries, chopped almonds for crunch and mixed seeds. Then som honey cos honey & figs is a dreeeam.
